Evidence to Practice: Engaging the AT Research Agenda as a Clinician

It is vital that Athletic Trainers (ATs) be prepared with a level of clinical knowledge and evidence that supports their practice. To ensure this goal, a systematic process for exploring research priorities is important to help ATs be successful and to foster positive patient outcomes.

The Strategic Alliance Research Agenda Task Force conducted a mixed methodology study consisting of six focus-groups, a content-expert review and a web-based survey. The below infographic takes a closer on how a clinician can utilize the athletic training research agenda in their practice.
