As a result of your efforts, BOC Approved Providers provided more than 2.2 million continuing education units (CEUs) to Athletic Trainers (ATs) during the 2020-2021 recertification period. The BOC appreciates all you do to help facilitate certification maintenance for ATs.
As announced in BOC communications over the past year, BOC Approved Provider renewal fees are now assessed in a tiered structure based on the annual average number of CEUs reported by ATs in the preceding CEU requirement period. BOC Approved Providers were placed into designated tiers based on this formula. Click here to view tiered pricing. Notification of tier assignments were sent in August 2022.
Annual fee invoices are available in BOC profiles in early November of each year, with the 2023 payment due no later than Dec. 31, 2022.
A late fee is applied in the case of late renewal and will be assessed for payments made between Jan. 1 and Jan. 14, 2023. This fee is based on applicable tier. For example, if a Tier 3 BOC Approved Provider wishes to maintain an active status but is past due with their renewal fee, their total late fee amount would be $355. Failure to pay by Jan. 14 will result in expiration of your BOC Approved Provider status.
