The BOC will not process an exam application until a signed copy of the front and back of the candidate's emergency cardiac care (ECC) card or proof of enrollment in an approved course is received. ECC certification must include the following:
Acceptable ECC providers are those adhering to the most current International Guidelines for Cardiopulmonary Resuscitation and Emergency Cardiac Care. Please check with your ECC provider to Be Certain.™ any course you take includes all of the above components. Common courses that meet these requirements are:
