While documenting the history of the exam for The BOC Exam: The First 40 Years - A Tribute to Our Volunteers, the BOC discovered that little of the history had actually been recorded. The BOC recognizes that the book published in 2007 is not a complete history, but the BOC Board of Directors believe that sharing the rich history of the exam is critical to the continued growth of the profession.
