Strategic Alliance Meeting

The Strategic Alliance for Athletic Training met in Omaha at the BOC national office for their annual 2 day summit. The Strategic Alliance meets 2 to 3 times per year engaging in discussions related to each organization’s role in the future of athletic training for our credential holders, our stakeholders and to identify collaborative opportunities.
As a part of their visit, the Strategic Alliance partners attended the University of Nebraska Omaha (UNO) Student Symposium and Fall Forum meeting sponsored by the UNO College of Education and the Nebraska State Athletic Trainers’ Association. Each of the presidents participated in a panel discussion with the students, program directors and educators from various athletic training programs in Nebraska.
The panel consisted of (pictured above from left to right) NATA President Tory Lindly, BOC President Rusty McKune, CAATE President Leslee Taylor and NATA Foundation President Brian Conway.
Strategic Alliance Mission and Vision Statements:
Through the collaborative efforts of accreditation, credentialing, membership, and research of Athletic Training, the Strategic Alliance advances the Athletic Training profession by identifying and prioritizing current and future practices and initiatives impacting the profession of athletic training and its stakeholders worldwide.
The Strategic Alliance will promote worldwide growth, enhanced protection, strategic development and continued advancement of the athletic training profession.
