Volunteer Opportunities
The Nominating Committee is always seeking BOC Certified ATs, physicians and members of the public who are interested in being a part of the BOC's mission through service on one of the BOC committees, task forces or the Board of Directors.

Currently, the BOC is looking for Exam Item Writers and Home Study Reviewers.
Exam Item Writers are ATs who develop exam questions for the national entry-level BOC certification exams. The BOC is currently looking for actively practicing ATs in the following practice settings:
- Secondary School
- Clinic/Hospital
- Professional Sports/Performing Arts
- Military/Government/Law Enforcement
- Industrial/Corporate
- Health/Fitness Industry
- Sales/Marketing
- Youth Sports

The BOC is in need of ATs to act as reviewers for home study programs. Each home study course submitted to the BOC for approval must be peer reviewed by a team of three ATs. Opportunities for home study reviewers include:
- Giving back to the AT profession
- Strengthening social or professional contacts
- Receiving personal satisfaction and professional recognition
- Gaining a different experience in your professional development
- Helping shape the future of the AT profession
- Earning up to 10 CEUs per year
