Basic Online Verification
Anyone may request verification of an AT's certification. Click here to search the online registry if official verification is not needed.
Official Written Verification
If written verification is required, ATs may request official verification of their current certification status for state licensure or employment purposes by submitting a formal request and $25 processing fee through BOC Central™ (once logged in, click "Official Written Verification" in the "Certifications" section or "Complete/Review a Form" in the "Forms" section and select "AT201 - Certification Verification"). Requests are processed within 2 business days of receipt.
Please note that verification is sent directly to the state regulatory agency or the employer. It is not sent to the AT unless requested by the state.
Official Electronic Verification
If electronic verification is allowed, ATs may request official verification of their current certification status for state licensure or employment purposes by submitting a formal request and $15 processing fee through BOC Central™ (once logged in, click "Official Electronic Verification" in the "Certifications" section). Requests are processed immediately upon receipt.
Please note that each electronic verification link expires after 30 days or once it has been accessed (whichever occurs first). In order to avoid having to request and pay for another electronic verification, Be Certain.™ the recipient views the verification before it expires and knows that the verification can only be reviewed one time.
Please check with your state regulatory agency or employer to see if electronic verification is acceptable before submitting your request, as the BOC will not refund payment for a verification report if an invalid email address is entered or if electronic verification is requested for a state regulatory agency that does not accept electronic verifications (see below). Simply select the appropriate state from the "Destination" pulldown menu when requesting electronic verification for a state regulatory agency.
